Weekend GTD project!

Comments

Uncovered this entry after discovering the usefulness of the Groups icon on my VoxWatch page...good to see you posting to this Group!

Then the only problem is finding a way to access this information when I don't have internet access.

Have you considered a Palm or other PDA that you could hotsynch to both your PCs at work and home? That's what I use.

Also: Google Desktop has been a Godsend at work...you can find almost anything on your PC in seconds. Be sure to manage the settings carefully, though!

I hope you'll join me in inviting others with a lust for office supplies to this Group! :)

I have an old Handspring Visor, which I love and used all the time for many years, but it only syncs with either Outlook, or its own software, neither of which is sufficient for my needs at this point in time. I might consider a Pocket PC at some point if my life gets busy enough to warrant it, and if the wireless technology on handhelds improve (I hear that it's not very useful at the moment, although I don't have any experience with it myself).

Another option I have is to turn text-messaging back on my phone, so I can have services like Google calendars send me alerts. I don't really like text messaging and don't want to pay for it, but it might be useful to me at some point.
